CEST® Armor Ultra Pro ballistic underpants cut protection stab protection

Designed by CEST in Germany.

The material was developed with our team and our colleagues from a research laboratory in Japan (near Nagoya).

The CEST Armor Ultra Pro ballistic underpants long, unisex cut, are woven from a hybrid textile (including Armortex, fiberglass, HPPE).

It can protect the wearer from secondary fragments, minimize injury patterns, and reduce wound contamination.

This material has been tested according to EN 388 6.2-16 ( highest cut protection level 5 ) and EN 388 6.2-16 ( highest stab protection level 4 ) by an internationally certified laboratory.

Attention: The CEST Armor Ultra Pro clothing is certified as follows:

Certifications: DIN EN ISO 13688:2013 + EN ISO 13688:2013_A1:2021 (General requirements for protective clothing), EN 388:2016+A1:2018, Ökotex (AITEX 2025EP0132)

Cut resistance (COUP test): Category 3

Test procedure:

A rotating circular blade cuts through the material at a constant speed and constant force (5 Newtons). For simplicity, the result is expressed as an index value. This value is calculated based on the number of cycles required to cut through the material and the degree of wear of the blade used.

Category 0: < Index 1.2

Category 1: ≥ Index 1.2

Category 2: ≥ Index 2.5

Category 4: ≥ Index 10

VPAM certification is expected at the end of 2021.

The great advantage of these ballistic underpants is their comfort. Because they also contain spandex, the fabric is super stretchy and actually wears like regular underpants. It's light, thin, and soft, yet breathable and offers excellent stab- and cut-resistant properties.

Washable (hand wash) at 40 degrees.

Attention: If the fabric is damaged, this clothing loses its protective function.

Currently, the CEST® Armor Ultra Pro fabric is being tested for certification according to STANAG 2920, V50 FSP (V50, max. 950 m/s, default conditioning) Projectiles: 1.1 g FSP
